In the process of production, we need to receive the tool die for loading after matching the materials, so the first step to receive the tool die we need to receive the tool die according to the drawing and the material number. We remember to correctly compare the material number and tool number, so as to correctly receive the tool, not only by the shape of the product. There are too many similar shape product tools in large die-cutting processing plants, and there are several sets of new and old tools used in the same product, once the wrong tool is led, and it is found that the material has caused a greater waste.

(2) Fixed die

After receiving, we need to fix the received knife die on the template of the die cutting machine. When fixing here, we need to strictly compare the operation instructions to confirm that the mold is punching down or punching up the mold. If it is the upper punching die need to be fixed on the lower template, if it is the lower punching die need to be fixed on the upper template. When fixed, we usually use double-sided tape with higher viscosity and thinner thickness to fix. When choosing double-sided tape, remember to use double-sided tape with high viscosity and good stability (usually 3M tape) to prevent the die from falling off during the punching process.

When fixing the tool die, it is not only necessary to fix the tool, we must ensure the perpendicality of the tool die and the direction of the machine in the fixing process, and ensure that the mold is kept vertical with the material belt when punching.

(4) Fixing of the backing plate

After fixing the mold, we need to fix the pad. The main function of the backing plate is to protect the direct contact between the blade and the template, reduce the damage of the tool and improve the service life of the tool. The backing plate is generally made of PVC board or PE insulating board with a thickness of about 1mm. The general use area of the plate should be more than 5mm on each side of the tool base plate. It is appropriate to fix the backing plate on the side of the template that takes the material direction.

(5) Pressure regulation

The adjustment of pressure here mainly refers to the adjustment of the depth of the die seat. After we install the tool, we need to adjust the die seat pressure test to check whether the die can effectively punch the material. During the pressure adjustment process, do not directly perform single or linkage punching. The device must be adjusted to the manual gear for test adjustment. When the die holder is adjusted to the current maximum stroke and still fails to effectively punch the material, the pressure adjustment should be tested again. When the die seat is adjusted to the maximum stroke, it has been punched to the lower die seat, indicating that the die seat pressure is too deep, and the pressure should be reduced and tested again.


Plate die cutting. The die cutting plate and the die cutting platform (bottom plate) are the same plane, and the die cutting blade is installed on the die cutting plate. When die-cutting, the die-cutting plate or the die-cutting plate table moves vertically, closes the pressure and releases the pressure, and cuts the face paper of the middle self-adhesive material to complete the die-cutting.

Circular die cutting. The die cutting roller and the die cutting bottom roller are both cylindrical, and the die cutting knife is installed on the circumference of the die cutting roller. When die cutting, the roller pillow of the die cutting roller contacts with the surface of the die cutting bottom roller, and makes pure rolling, cutting the surface material in the middle of the self-adhesive material and die cutting to complete the die cutting.
