The silica gel itself is odorless, but the vulcanizing agent and accelerator added during vulcanization have residue causing the pipe to have odor. The method of treatment is to use high-purity additives, vacuum pumping after processing, and extract the residue.
If the silicone tube has been made, it can be baked in the oven at 200 degrees for 4 hours, or boiled in water for 2 hours for secondary fluidization. Before the silicone tube is made, the above method can be done if the price is sufficient.
