If your airpords battery compartment cannot be charged, I suggest you first check whether it is caused by poor contact of your charging cable connector. You can change a cable and try to charge it. If it still cannot be charged, there may be a problem with the interface of your battery compartment, or some damage to the hardware inside the battery compartment. In this case, it is still recommended to go to Apple after-sales repair
